"Sale/Clearance signs were vary vague. For example, at the end of the aisle signs stated: (dept) clearance 50%, prices reflect at registers or something similar. I had an items from one of those aisles. At the registers, the clearance price of 50% off didn't happen, so I questioned the cashier. She didn't know and had another employee check into it. The employee didn't even go to the department to check the pricing, but insisted that I was lying. She continued to argue with me saying that if it doesn't ring up clearance, it's not on clearance. I stated the section I got the merchandise from had the clearance sign and that I had taken the last item in that color and style off the shelf. She continued arguing with me and told the cashier to give her the discount so shes quits arguing with us. I don't understand why I was treated with such disrespect as a customer and a fellow retail employee. Whether the customer is right or wrong, the customer is always right -- you want them to come back and continue shopping at your business. I was turned off the the second employee that helped with the pricing dilemma I was having at the registers because she didn't even seem to care about the problem. She never walked to that area of the store to check, she didn't believe what I was saying and gave me backlash for even bringing up the issue. At the end of our transaction, I wasn't thanked by an employee for shopping, nor did I get an apology for the issues I was having. I understand that the holiday season can be stressful at times, but that didn't give the employee the right to treat me with disrespect as a human being."
